Loosely based on the format of the ever popular 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', 'Simply Shekhar' has both, stand-up comedy as well as chat with a celebrity guest. Shekhar has the audience enthralled with his gift of the gab, as he mimics or takes digs at politicians from all over the world as well as socialites, be it a television star or a movie star. He takes potshots at topical issues and often sings to the live band on the show.
