The story of 'Maayka', which means the maternal home, revolves around the lives of three daughters of a household. A woman leaves her ‘maayka’ after marriage to go to her new home, but the bitter-sweet memories of her previous home never leave her. The whole world may turn upside down, but she can draw strength from her ‘maayka’ to overcome her trials and tribulations. However, if things go awry in ‘maayka’, then even her affluent, peaceful marital life fails to give her tranquility and she remains distressed.
Raji goes back to her house and is surprised when she finds a letter by Veer addressed to her. Mahi is discharged and Vrij brings her home. Vrij and Moni are shocked to find that some goons are throwing furniture and vessels outside the house. Vrij pleads with them to stop. He calls up the financer, Sarin, from whom he had taken the loan. Will Sarin grant him a few more days to repay his loan? What is Durga doing with Sarin?
Durga blasts Brij for Soni having slapped and humiliated Jeet. Soni warns Jeet that she will not spare him if something happens to Mahi. Brij questions Mahi on her slapping Jeet and asks Durga to forgive her. Mahi's condition is very critical. Depressed Soni finally says sorry to Durga and Jeet. On the other hand an infuriated Durga warns Raji not to stay at the hospital or else she will have to face the consequences herself.
Vrij gets a period of seven days from Sarin to repay the debt. Vrij and Moni wonder how things would change in a week. Mahi tells Soni that she has forgiven Jeet. Sarin happens to be Durga’s deceased sister’s husband. He promises her that he will make Vrij pay for his sins. Moni decides to sell her familial jewels and get the money to repay the loans.
