'Kasamh Se' is a hugely popular drama series, currently being broadcast on Zee TV. The story revolves around the lives and loves of three sisters viz. Baani, Pia and Rano. They live in Mount Abu with their father Nishikant Dixit, having lost their mother seven years back. Nishikant dies after taking promise from Baani that she will take care of her younger sisters. Baani receives a letter her father had left for them, in which the contact details of Jai Walia are mentioned. The letter also mentions that it is Jai Walia who will look after them after Nishikant's death. The sisters go to Mumbai and take shelter with Jai Walia.
Jai's sister Jigyasa and her son Ranveer hate the Baani, Pia and Rano. Jai soon realizes that he likes Pia and proposes marriage to her despite the age barrier. The Walia family is shocked. Pia who is already in love with Pushkar agrees for the marriage, thinking that Jai Walia will give her a better life. However, things take a nasty turn when Pia changes her mind and elopes with Pushkar. Baani is shocked to learn that Pia has eloped. Jigyasa suggests that Baani takes Pia's place at the wedding. Under pressure, Baani agrees and gets married to Jai. However, Jai simply refuses to accept Baani as his wife even after the wedding. As the story progresses, it tracks the girls' hardships and triumphs.

Baani confides in Rashi that she can't live without Jai, but has to stay away from him. Aditya tries to make Baani change her decision, but she is determined to wean herself away from Jai's life. Jigyasa belittles Baani in front of Billo Masi and Daadi. Baani confronts Tarun on his being Jai's best friend and is stunned to learn that Jai had requested him to take up the case so that she can win.
Baani and Jai's relationship is strained further as Jigyasa and Ranvir get together to wrench them apart. Jigyasa thinks of a new way to destroy Baani's confidence on winning her case by informing her that Tarun Sablok is Jai's good friend. Is there a resolution to Baani's ever increasing woes?
Pia holds herself responsible for Jai's state and volunteers to go for an inauguration with him. Jai, however, blatantly refuses. Baani questions her own actions and decides to change her lawyer. In another law firm, Baani finds Ranvir trying to bribe a lawyer to get Jai's ancestral home transferred in his name. Rashi informs her that the fire at Tarun's party was planned and aimed at Jai. While Jai is being badgered with questions from the media, Baani appears and takes charge of the questions and saves the situation. Baani astonishes everyone at the Walia mansion by walking into it and resuming her position as Jai's wife
