Zee TV's school drama 'Hip Hip Hurray!' enjoyed cult following when it was first aired in the '90s. Revolving around a motley bunch of school kids and their dreams, aspirations and emotions, the series launched a lot of new faces which are established names in Indian entertainment. These include Bhoomika Chawla, Shweta Salve and Peeya Rai Chaudhury.
The last year of school is special and everyone cherishes it for the rest of one's life. 'Hip Hip Hurray!' opens on the first day of the new academic year at D'Nobili High School - the day is also the first day of the last year in school for Class 12 students. The episodes takes you through the year spent by an exciting bunch of teenagers - a year during which they fall in love, and suffer heart-breaks, have problems with their teachers and parents, experience pressures at exam time and so on. Their trials and tribulations are captured poignantly and with rare sensitivity.

Avinash tries his best to convince Randy, to avoid bad company and concentrate on studies. Neha is a little jealous and upset but happy at the same time because Mohit gives attention to her too. Babu Bhai shoots Desai Sir while stealing the examination papers.
Mohit learns about Neha's cheat. Neha's guilt makes her confess the truth. Police has started visiting college premises almost everyday looking for the culprits of cyber crime. Finally, the gang decides to confess the truth. Will the police forgive them? Or will they be sent to jail?
Randy's parents reach college, as they receive a letter from Desai Sir. Finally, Randy feels guilty and is ashamed for everything. Desai sir recuperates faster than expected. The gang passes the first year examination successfully. And here they are celebrating the friendship at the end of the year.
