Air Commodore Suraj Singh commands a certain air base that also has Srinivas Rao as a senior officer and a group of four young flight lieutenants - Vikram, Karan, Saurav and Jatin. Suraj’s daughter Monica is an enterprising Air Force cargo pilot who falls in love with Vikram. However, Vikram loves Sanjana and has a hard time dealing with his personal demons. As the story evolves, it hurls situations at these young heroes - some questioning their ideals while others demanding them to put their duty and responsibility at the forefront. When only a thin line exists between life and death, will these young soldiers waste away time in fighting their weaknesses or reach out and grasp the sky?
Rituals of Inder and Abhay’s death anniversaries are performed at their respective residences. During an emergency meeting, Suraj is made aware of the enemy’s effort to be acquainted with information about the Indian air base. The four new pilots are introduced to everyone. Vikram wins the boxing match against Karan. Leela and Monica are glad about Sourabh and Vikram’s return.
Jatin and Vikram fall in love at first sight with Ayesha and Sanjana respectively.Suraj refrains to answer Leela's questions regarding Vikram's entry into his base camp. Monica's fighter plane catches fire. Will she have a safe landing?
Arrangements for Monica's rescue are carried out and she has a safe landing. Impressed by this, Karan invites Monica for dinner. Sanjana and Vikram meet at a café while Ayesha accidently bumps into Jatin. Nonsense talks about Monica enrages Vikram and he fights with Karan. Leela insults Vikram on his arrival at their residence.
Karan confesses his love to Monica and she asks him to maintain their relationship only as colleagues. Suraj asks Leela to behave nicely with Vikram. Vikram contradicts Monica's suggestion of dropping Sanjana home, which makes her upset. Karan bears the brunt of her anger. Leela is disturbed at watching Monica getting close to Vikram in the party. She insults Sujata and blames her husband, Abhay, for Inder's death.
Sujata is hurt by Leela's behaviour. Monica and Sourabh deny the fact that Abhay is responsible for Inder's death. Monica senses that Suraj loves Sanjana. Karan tries to instigate Leela against Vikram. Shrinivas informs Suraj that the news about the air show have been leaked. Leela is worried on receiving the news that Vikram and Sourabh are out for a sortie together. The enemy is ready for an attack. Will Vikram and Sourabh be able to defeat the enemies or fall prey to their tactics?
Monica breaks her promise of being aloof from Vikram. Dadi wants Monica to realize her feelings for Vikram while Leela wants her to tie him a rakhi. What would Monica do? To what extent will Karan go to keep Monica and Vikram away?
Monica tackles Leela’s wish intelligently by tying raakhi to Vikram’s brother. Suraj comes to know that some secret agent of the enemies has entered their base and is leaking all the information of the emergency meet. Monica grooms herself to suit the description of Vikram’s dream girl. Suraj scolds Leela when he comes to know about Monica tying raakhi to one of Sujata’s sons.
