Star TV's extremely popular soap opera, ‘Bhabhi’, highlights the trials and tribulations of a typical Indian bride who has to confront innumerable changes in her life and get accustomed to the new atmosphere and relationships that bind her as soon as she begins her new life with her husband. 'Bhabhi' narrates the saga of Saroj who becomes a victim of mistaken identity following an accident soon after her marriage. Her husband, Dr. Prakash, goes missing after the accident and Saroj ends up being mistaken for someone else's - Tilak's - wife. Circumstances prevent Saroj and Tilak from revealing the truth to the latter's family members. Fate has brought Saroj in a completely new atmosphere where she is stormed with sudden problems. Despite all the tribulations, she strives to keep Tilak's family together and happy, sacrificing her own life in the process.
