Rajshri.com is proud to present to you the first and the grandest Indo-Pak television serial, ‘Ana’, as part of our offering from popular Pakistani channel Geo TV.
A human being’s 'ana' (ego) sometimes manifests itself in an inflated sense of self-worth and destroys any trace of predilection. Agha Jalal, a business tycoon, learnt to endure the adversities that his early life subjected him to, but at a huge cost. Although he rose valiantly from a bitter family feud in his initial years, the incident left him scarred and ruthless with insouciance towards his own family which constitutes his wife, Fakhira and four kids, Sanawar, Alvera, Kismala and Dilawar.
A dominant father, Agha crushes every little tinge of emotion that creeps into his heart for his family. His decisions are binding and almost strangulating, curbing each desire that his children possess. Deemed to a fate that is almost indelibly carved out by their father, they live a life chalked out by him. Will this incessant fight to rule over the lives of the others leave Agha solitary and dejected? Will his ‘ana’ that serves a purgatory need to decide the lives of his children, ultimately bring desolation and misery for all?
