'Shevri' portrays the life of a middle-aged woman (Neena Kulkarni) who lives in a rented place with another woman (Mita Vasisht) in Mumbai. The woman can't return home one particular night because her flatmate’s boyfriend is visiting. As usual, she plans to go to Nasik and visit her mum and son for the weekend. However, her plan falls through and she ends up spending the night out in the city. Her experiences and her story, which are disclosed in flashbacks, are brilliantly potrayed.
