Meena Kumari perhaps in the easiest role of her film career. At no point she appears to be "acting" more like homely talk with other characters. A very smooth sailing for a great actress like her. A very low budget movie like most of other movies of a goneby era. Two other great movies of her were released the same year (1962): Main Chup Rahoongi & Sahib, Bibi aur Ghulam. Oh those goneby days

Good publicity work for Air India at 00:29:09 and for Brooke Bond tea at 01:25:00. A box of tea is shown time and again while Mahmood recounts qualities of this brand of tea. Both Air India and Brooke Bond must have made good financial contributions toward production of this movie!!!

A nice melodious movie, of course Roshan one of the great music director of India. Thanks rajshri.com for making my vacation so wonderful, all those my childhood songs listening on radio Ceylon now watching them. thanks again.
